Privacy Policy

LeaderLeads (“LeaderLeads,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a product of LeaderHQ, a division of Know Freedom Technologies. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using LeaderLeads, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account email. The email address you use to sign in and receive notifications.
• Phone number. Required when you create an account, used for account security and to help people you meet reach you.
• Card content.The information you add to your digital business card — name, title, links, and any details you choose to display, including an optional cartoon avatar generated from a photo you upload (see “Service providers” below).
• Leads. Contact details submitted to you by people who interact with your card, which we store on your behalf.
• Memory Moment. Photos, notes, a place label, and the date you attach to a lead to remember where and how you met. If you grant location permission, we also store the precise location associated with that memory.
• Cookies and session data. We use a session cookie to keep you logged in and to operate the service. If you arrive via someone’s invite link, we set a first-party cookie (and a localStorage fallback) that credits that referral for up to 90 days — see “Cookies” below. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
• Contact and support inquiries. The name, email address, topic, and message you submit through our contact form.
• Technical information. Your IP address, used briefly to rate-limit our public forms and protect against abuse.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve LeaderLeads.
• Display your card and deliver leads captured through it.
• Send transactional and account-related email (for example, lead alerts and sign-in messages).
• Process subscriptions and billing.
• Protect against fraud, abuse, and security issues.

Information collected on behalf of our customers

Some information in LeaderLeads is submitted by third parties — for example, leads captured through a customer’s card. For that information, our customer is the data controller and we act as a service provider (processor), storing and processing it only on the customer’s instructions. If you believe a LeaderLeads customer holds your information and you want it corrected or deleted, contact that customer directly, or email us at support@leaderhq.io and we will assist.

Cookies

LeaderLeads uses strictly necessary cookies: a session cookie that keeps you signed in and short-lived cookies used for security (such as sign-in and CSRF protection). We also set a first-party dc_ref cookie (max 90 days) when you arrive via someone’s invite link, so we can credit that referral — this is functional to the invite feature you followed, not advertising or cross-site tracking, and we do not use it to build a profile of you. We use Vercel Analytics on this marketing site, which is cookieless and measures only aggregate traffic — it does not set cookies, use fingerprinting, or track you across other websites, and it does not collect information that identifies you personally. We also use Google Analytics 4, which sets first-party cookies to distinguish visitors across sessions and collects standard analytics data (pages viewed, approximate location from your IP address, device and browser type, and referring site). Google Analytics runs on this marketing site and within the LeaderLeads product itself, including the dashboard and public card pages. We do not currently use third-party advertising or remarketing trackers (such as ad pixels) beyond Google Analytics’s own standard data collection. See Google’s privacy policy for how Google itself processes this data. If we introduce additional advertising trackers or marketing cookies beyond what’s described here, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.

Service providers

We share information only with the vendors needed to run the service:

• Postmark processes our transactional email so we can deliver lead alerts and sign-in messages.
• Stripe processes payments and manages subscriptions. We do not store your full card numbers; Stripe handles payment data directly.
• Googleprovides optional “Sign in with Google” authentication. If you use it, Google shares your name and email with us; we never see your Google password. Google also provides Google Analytics 4, which we use on this marketing site and within the LeaderLeads product to measure traffic and usage — see “Cookies” above for what it collects.
• fal.aiprocesses a photo you choose to upload to generate an optional cartoon avatar for your card. We send fal.ai only that photo — no other account or card data. Under fal.ai’s standard terms, they may retain and use uploaded images to operate, support, and improve their services and AI models. You can remove your avatar from your card at any time; email us to request deletion of the underlying photo from fal.ai’s systems.
• Vercel hosts our marketing site and provides the cookieless Vercel Analytics described above.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Data retention

We retain your account information, card content, leads, and Memory Moment photos for as long as your account is active. When you delete content or close your account, we remove the associated data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.

Your privacy rights (GDPR & CCPA/CPRA)

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over your personal information:

• Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Deletion — ask us to delete your personal information.
• Portability — receive your information in a portable, machine-readable format.
• Restriction and objection — restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing.
• Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, these rights arise under the GDPR / UK GDPR, and you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the rights above plus the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA.

To exercise any of these rights, use the tools in the app or email support@leaderhq.io. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law (generally 30 days under GDPR, 45 days under CCPA/CPRA).

Children's privacy

LeaderLeads is a business tool intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data and limit access to it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of LeaderLeads after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Governing law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
